An exceptionally ripe but not roasted nose exhibits aromas of wood, bitter chocolate, poached plum and a whiff of the sauvage. The lavishly rich, succulent and palate drenching broad-shouldered flavors flash good power and fine depth and length. This is actually quite good in its fashion, but it is certainly not typical.
